This is what full service looks like.
The problem: warped exhaust manifolds had blown out their gaskets, a known issue on the EcoBoost, causing an exhaust leak.
What we found: some manifold studs had seized. Fighting them in-chassis risks snapping them off deep in the head.
What we did: pulled the cab off the frame to reach the manifolds properly, drilled out the seized studs, and installed new and updated manifolds with fresh gaskets.
It's the kind of job plenty of shops would rather not take. Doing it right beats doing it twice.
